I hope you all had a lovely Christmas & New Year. Well what a year!!
As many of you would of seen, I have moved over to Folksy. There are many reasons for this to which I don’t want to bore you with! But the outcome of me changing the path of Chasoben Designs is, I am able to have the time to be more creative. I miss posting social media posts (including my blog), creating new rolags, spinning new yarn and designing new patterns/kits. That was the main purpose of Chasoben, to be a designer.
For people who havent heard of Folksy, it is basically a British version of Etsy, but with much more handmade items for sale. When you have a spare minute or two, please go onto the website and see what beautiful handmade items are for sale on there. folksy.com
As the title says New Year, New Chapter. To me this also means I start as a part time University Student this month with a History Degree. It is something I have always wanted to do, so I thought why not? I have been so excited about it since I signed up! You can tell, its been awhile since I’ve been in school!
Another change for Chasoben Designs, is the yarn I have been using for the Fair Isle kits. I am now using Scheepjes yarn, Downtown and Metropolis. This has totally changed not only the look but also the feel of the cowls. The fine merino within the yarn makes the cowls so soft to the touch. These will be on sale in the next couple of weeks.
